SAP RATINGS plus U-values, Elemental, Target U value and Carbon Index report

TO SUBMIT A HOUSING PROJECT FOR BUILDING REGULATIONS L1 or J 2002 ENERGY AND SAP RATING CALCULATION:

Post the architectural drawings,the same as prepared for Building Regulations approval, to the address below. If you have window dimensions on a drawing or schedule please include them. You do not need to indicate U-values – I will calculate them and report to you from the construction details shown. The information should include elevations, plans, main sections, north point, heating system type, boiler type, water heating type, and fuels. I will telephone if I need any more information.

The standard cost is £50 plus VAT (£58.75) per dwelling of up to 120 sq m. ( see below ). This provides a report on compliance with Building Regulations Part L1, under Elemental, Target U-value and Carbon Index methods as well as a SAP rating certificate, with telephone discussion of any amendment to design if necessary to meet regulations under the optimum method.

Please include a cheque with your order payable to S J Kinsella . Normally within 7 days days I will return you 2 copies of the 7 page SAP calculation worksheet(s) for submission to Building Control , a report on Building Regulations ‘L1’ , ‘J’, or ‘F’ compliance (according to whether the site is in England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland), a summary of U values, and heating/ water heating systems types and fuel. For apartment blocks and groups of dwellings I can provide a schedule of dwelling performances – this is integrated with the calculation so I can advise on the effect on all the dwellings of any common specification change.

* My standard charge is £50 + VAT = £58.75 per new dwelling/calculation. This covers most circumstances working to the Robust details for thermal bridging. The charge for larger houses of 120 to 220 sq m is £100 + VAT. See Price List for more cost information. Please contact me for a quotation for conversions, refurbishments, preliminary designs, for repeated similar designs or apartments, extensions/conservatories, high glazed areas, and before-and-after comparisons to compare ‘existing’ with ‘improved’. I include a receipted VAT invoice with your calculations.
